MUTUALIZING
WITH THE CMA
A cooperative space dedicated to identifying the needs of ecovillages and developing shared solutions in service of collective projects.
Mutualizing to move forward together

Within the Coopmutactrice, mutualization enables member ecovillages to share resources, tools, experiences, and practical solutions to everyday challenges.
It is in this spirit of cooperation that the Mutualization Committee was created.

The Mutualization Committee
The Mutualization Committee brings together members of the Coopmutactrice who wish to contribute to the creation of shared solutions for ecovillages that are part of the CMA.
All forms of contribution are welcome: the needs are many, the ideas are plentiful, and everyone can help build the collective effort according to their skills, experience, or simply their desire to participate.
Discussions between ecovillages have highlighted several priority topics. Among them, insurance quickly emerged as a major issue for many collectives.
Collective work around risks and insurance
The Mutualization Committee worked for several months on this topic in order to help guide collectives in understanding and managing risk coverage.
According to us, this process begins with identifying the main risks, evaluating their likelihood of occurrence, and assessing their potential impact on the ecovillage.
For this reason, taking out insurance should not automatically be the default response.
A first webinar was organized in early 2026 and presented both a risk analysis method and an insurance solution specifically designed to address risks related to buildings and their occupants.
This webinar also led to a very valuable sharing of experiences on this complex topic. There will certainly be more to come!
