SUITABLE SOLUTIONS
You wish to support the actions of the F.R.I.C., contribute to the sustainability of cooperative projects or put financial energy at the service of the common good. Depending on your situation, several forms of contribution are possible.
You are an individual
MAKE A DONATION TO THE F.R.I.C.
Your donation can be earmarked (directed) toward a specific project (money, Shareholder Current Accounts, shares, etc.) through an agreement.
The supported project must align with the mission and ethics of the F.R.I.C.
Your financial support entitles you to a tax reduction equal to 66% of the donation amount, within the limits provided by law.
For example (if you are french tax payer):
-
A donation of €100 allows you to deduct €66 from your taxes,
-
Your donation costs you €34,
-
The F.R.I.C. has €100 to act.
Transfer a property or an ecoVILLAGE
You wish to transfer your ecovillage to ensure your project’s durability and remove it from real estate speculation.
You may have questions:
-
How to preserve an ecovillage without incurring inheritance taxes or falling victim to the greed associated with real estate speculation?
-
How to prepare governance for your passing or organize a transition while maintaining the spirit of the place?
The F.R.I.C. offers to share its experiences in cooperity and legal arrangements that allow for the integrity of the place to be preserved and its soul maintained.
Make a bequesT
You choose, during your lifetime, to bequeath a part of your estate.
(You may optionally retain usufruct rights.)
As an Endowment Fund, the F.R.I.C. is exempt from transfer taxes: the entirety of what you bequeath is transferred without tax or levy.
In the absence of a direct heir or testamentary disposition, taxes of at least 60% may apply to your estate. Planning your succession allows you to continue your commitments in a spirit of solidarity and generosity.
A bequest is a provision made by written will (letter or agreement). It can take different forms:
-
Universal bequest: donation of the free portion of the inheritance
-
Specific bequest: donation of specifically designated assets (house, sum of money, shares…)
-
Bequest with retained usufruct: the bare ownership is transferred, while the donor retains the usufruct to pass it on upon their death
Life insurance
Life insurance is a savings contract that can be benefited from during your lifetime, while designating the F.R.I.C. as the beneficiary upon your death.
You are a COMPANY
Become a patron of the F.R.I.C.
Becoming a patron of the F.R.I.C. means acting within the framework of your corporate social responsibility by supporting public-interest missions with strong social and ecological values, for a more cooperative world.
You can support:
-
A local initiative to anchor your actions in the territory,
-
Or all of the actions of the Endowment Fund.
(For example) in France, patronage entitles you to a tax reduction of 60% of the donation amount, within the limit of 0.5% of your annual turnover.
The F.R.I.C. offers the establishment of an agreement to:
-
Define your wishes,
-
Specify mutual commitments,
-
Frame the modalities of communication and the association of the Endowment Fund’s image with your company.
