The F.R.I.C. Endowment Fund receives, protects, and directs financial energy to support ecological, solidarity-based, and cooperative projects; taking assets out of speculation and putting them in the service of life and the common good
The energy of giving in the service of the collective
The Endowment Fund for Creative Investment Resources (F.R.I.C.) is a tool in service of a political vision: building society differently by enabling each person to satisfy their human needs.

The institutions of our societies push toward the financialization of all material, natural, creative, and even living assets in order to create individual appropriations that remove them from the majority and from collective management.

Rather than fighting individual interests or a deeply entrenched system, we prefer to practice systemic aikido by using the financial energy of giving to move away from personal appropriation, restore cooperity among humans, and allow nature to regenerate.

Mutual aid allows us to build a more inclusive, intergenerational society that respects life and the richness of our exceptional planet.

Our actions
We support participatory organizations that experiment with alternative ways of living, decision-making, and caring for life. Concretely, the F.R.I.C. can:
ReceivE and direct resources
The F.R.I.C. receives and manages resources of all kinds (financial, real estate, movable property, rights, works, knowledge, or services) that are entrusted to it free of charge and irrevocably.

These resources are taken out of individual appropriation logic to be protected over the long term and directed toward the general interest. They form a common base serving collective, ecological, and solidarity-based projects.
Supporting HUMANE participatory organizations
The F.R.I.C. aims to support, develop, and sustain humane participatory organizations, in which each person cooperates in the decision-making process. These organizations experiment with alternative ways of building society and living together, based on ecological, democratic, solidarity-based, and cooperative practices. They place connection, meaning, and life at the heart of their functioning.
Remove assets from speculation
The F.R.I.C. acquires, manages, and develops material and immaterial assets in order to make them available to the widest amount of people possible.

Concretely, the fund can:
-
Receive or purchase land or real estate to remove it from speculation,
-
Make it available to projects in various forms: free use, financial contribution, or “rewilding,”
-
Support the transfer and long-term sustainability of collective spaces and ecovillages.
The goal is to preserve the integrity of the places over time, their collective purpose, and their soul, beyond market logics.
Implement concrete measures to take action
To carry out its mission, the F.R.I.C. mobilizes all means it deems appropriate, notably:

-
Granting donations or investments to projects aligned with its purpose,
-
Providing loan guarantees necessary for the realization of cooperative, ecological, and solidarity-based projects,
-
Purchasing or constructing assets and services (tools, infrastructures, training, works, knowledge) to make them available to organizations in the social and solidarity economy.
The F.R.I.C. team
We are committed individuals, united by a shared conviction: money is an energy that can be used to level the playing field and create a more joyful society. We dedicate our skills, experience, and commitment to collective projects, supporting fairer, more inclusive, and sustainable forms of organization.

The Darricau Committee
In order to preserve and enhance the assets received as a bequest from Mr. Darricau, the C.E.R.E.S Endowment Fund has decided to allocate them to the F.R.I.C. This choice reflects the desire to build a sustainable model, capable of preserving this legacy long-term and strengthening its impact, thanks to an expanded team.

By joining a structured and committed network, we are choosing the future.
"I" am because "we" are, together we go further.

This coming-together rests on three pillars:
-
Sustaining our mission through solid governance
-
Preserving our identity with a dedicated committee
-
Innovating together to build a sustainable and inspiring model

More than just a transmission, a shared dynamic serving the common good
